Oh, but Durst is, indeed, unforgivable. However, as he is not actually a musician, in that he has no ability to play, write, or read music, I'm not sure how he fits into this conversation...

I was so hoping Axl would pick up the mantel and save rock music again, but no. Sorely disappointed and more bitter about that asshole than ever, I have renewed hope in Velvet Revolver, as long as Weiland stays off the dope.

Can't count on Aerosmithe any more, and I just don't know about Metallica. Thoroughgood may have something left to contribute, but the Stones are too far gone. Who's left? AC/DC? Pearl Jam? I'd almost throw Creed into that hat if popular opinions about them weren't so completely divided. And who in the holy hades invited Jet to the party? What total crap. Does the world really need Judas Priest to reunite? No. Ozzy could have died and metal would have gone with him, but fucking Clapton is still god? Right. Avril could be Joan Jett. Too bad Tesla turned into Bette Middler.

Axl save Rock n Roll? hehe...

actually, rock is alive and well, just not being signed to major labels or being played on the radio... unless it's a college station...

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">There was a college-ish station around here once, had a 50,000 watt tower, beuatiful variety. They got bought out and moved to an 8,000 watt tower that barely reaches the outskirts of the college town. What I'd give to get that back...

If Kurt Cobain knew Fred Durst had his (Cobain's) face tatooed on his (Durst's) chest, he'd kill himself all over again...

I always find conversations like this rather odd...in general, it seems a lot of people will say a band or musician "sucks", then they use an example of an act they find to be good in comparison...yet they use this example of what's "good" like EVERYONE in the world agrees with them. I sometimes wonder - if you can't realize that your opinion of what's GOOD is NOT everyone else's opinion, then who are you to say what's BAD in the first place?

    HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM??????????
